Chris Krankemann

Senior Partner

W. Christian “Chris” Krankemann is the managing shareholder of Krankemann Law Offices P.C.
Mr. Krankemann and his team successfully represented hundreds of claimants who lost their
homes, livelihoods,and communities in the 2017 North Bay Fires including the Tubbs Fire, Nuns
Fire and the Mendocino Complex Fires. In addition, Mr. Krankemann and his team represented
hundreds of victims in the 2018 Camp Fire, the 2019 Kincade Fire as well as the 2020 Glass
and Wallbridge Fires. Whether leading insurance negotiations, navigating the Fire Victim Trust
claims process, litigating against utilities and municipalities, or holding insurance companies
accountable in bad faith actions, Mr. Krankemann and his team have advocated for each client’s
outcome to not only make them whole but to compensate them for emotional distress.
Chris Krankemann has tried more than 20 trials to conclusion representing plaintiffs in civil
actions, concentrating on claims involving wrongful death, severe or catastrophic personal
injuries, and insurance bad faith.  Chris was named by the North Bay Business Journal as one
of Northern California’s top professionals under the age of 40.

Martin Reilley

Martin Reilley is an attorney with KrankeMartin Reilley is an attorney with Krankemann Law Offices P.C.  When the Tubbs Fire left a path
of destruction through Santa Rosa in 2017, Mr. Reilley was among those who lost it all. He
understands the daunting task of navigating the insurance claims process while grieving the
loss of the home where he raised his kids, the irreplaceable heirlooms, the community of his
neighborhood, and the life lived there. Mr. Reilley successfully sought justice and recovery not
just himself but for numerous other victims of the Tubbs Fire, Nuns Fire, and Camp Fire through
insurance negotiations, holding insurance companies accountable in bad-faith actions, and
advocating for clients throughout the Fire Victim Trust claims process.
Martin Reilley has tried more than 50 jury trials to conclusion representing plaintiffs in civil
actions, concentrating on claims involving wrongful death, severe or catastrophic personal
injuries, insurance bad-faith, and fraud. Mr. Reilley has been given an AV Preeminent rating by
Martindale-Hubbell, has the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards. Since
2005, Mr. Reilley has been selected as one of Northern California’s “Super Lawyers.” Only 5%
